Wedding Day Shoes – Avoid Foot Pain
How to Stretch Your Shoes for a Perfect Fit
Break in Your Wedding Shoes Early Guide π π
Brides and wedding party members, the last thing you want on the wedding day is aching feet from shoes that haven’t been properly broken in. Whether you’re wearing elegant heels or stylish flats, starting the break-in process at least 30 days in advance can save you from painful sore feet.
β¨ Here’s How to Stretch Your Wedding Shoes for a Perfect Fit:
βοΈ Use a Professional Wooden Shoe Stretcher β This tool helps gently expand your shoes, ensuring a comfortable fit without ruining their shape. β
βοΈ Apply Shoe Stretch Spray β Lightly mist the inside of your shoes (fabric only) before inserting the wooden shoe stretchers. The spray softens the material, making it mold to your fit more quickly.
βοΈ Test Them Regularly β Wear your shoes around the house for short periods to ensure they conform to your feet. If you feel any discomfort, adjust the wooden shoe stretcher, mist the inside of the shoes again, and reinsert the stretcher. Repeat this process until the shoes feel perfect for wear. β
π‘ Pro Tip: Be mindful of the surfaces where you’ll be wearing the shoes. Not all shoes work well on grass or uneven terrain. Use this time to not only stretch your shoes but also to assess their suitability for your wedding venue’s environment.
