Sand Blending Ritual

The sand blending ritual has the same symbolic meaning as the unity candle.  And it is a great substitute for it when having a wedding outdoors.

The only difference is that it cannot represent the burning away of the negative energies of the past, or between you and your future in-laws.  Therefore, it symbolizes what you bring to the relationship as a couple (good or bad, past or present, and what you chose to leave behind).

As a minister who has been trained to write rituals, the sand blending ritual can be tailored to you desires.  The colors can be used in a very positive and power way.
