DC Marriage License Application Guide

Getting married in Washington, DC, can be fast and easy. Here’s what you need to know to obtain your DC marriage license—the first step in getting married.

The DC Superior Court’s Marriage Bureau is located in Room JM-690 at the Moultrie Courthouse, 500 Indiana Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001. This bureau processes marriage licenses and authorizes officiants to perform ceremonies within the District of Columbia.

Our officiants are authorized, registered, and listed with the bureau. If you choose our services, please include your officiant’s name on your marriage license application before submitting it.
